In an increas­ing­ly inter­con­nect­ed world, cap­i­tal­ism is less and less seen as the opti­mal socioe­co­nom­ic organ­is­ing prin­ci­ple; instead, alter­na­tive, more sus­tain­able mod­els based on shar­ing are being adopt­ed to build tomorrow’s fair­er and more cohe­sive soci­eties.

  1. New types of econ­o­my as a way towards fair­er soci­eties: Are col­lab­o­ra­tive econ­o­my, shar­ing econ­o­my and social & sol­i­dar­i­ty econ­o­my of the city-state alter­na­tives to old and obso­lete eco­nom­ic mod­els? What are they main fea­tures and how can they work?
  2. What kind of mod­els can con­tribute to fos­ter more equi­table, cohe­sive and sus­tain­able soci­eties by address­ing the short­com­ings of cap­i­tal­ist economies?
